Delivery
Free shipping is currently only available within South Africa.
Shipping is free of charge for all non-retail / bulk orders of R1000 or more.
All shipping fees are indicated in South African Rands.
Please note that the cost of shipping excludes insurance.
Courier Info
We work with a courier company to get your food to you as fast as possible. They operate throughout South Africa and charge R160 for orders under R1000.
As we are based in Hoedspruit (an outlying town) please allow the following handling & delivery times for your order.

Please note that couriers do not deliver on public holidays or weekends!
Deliveries are typically made from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
If you have any concerns about your delivery, please drop us a line and we’ll help you as best we can.
If you’re more spontaneous than this allows, call Trish on +27 73 763-4314 and we’ll let you know what we have in stock or who might stock our products in a shop near you.
We retain the right to change the courier service fees without prior notice, subject to the courier company’s policy. Any changes will be communicated to the purchaser on the payment page.
Your Delivery
At the Trail Food Company, we know that you just want to get out there and get adventuring so we will endeavour to process your order and ship it to you as soon as possible. That said, we will only dispatch orders after we confirm receipt of payment or receive proof of payment.
If your delivery address is unattended when delivery is attempted it will be the at courier’s discretion to leave a message and try to schedule a second attempt to deliver, subject to the courier’s terms and conditions.
If anyone other than yourself receives the products at the delivery address, they will be presumed to be authorised to accept delivery on your behalf. You are welcome to specify within the delivery notes if someone else can accept your delivery on your behalf.
Any damage or loss incurred during shipping shall be dealt with as per the Refund Policy.
Delivery Delays
While we do our best to work with reliable couriers, we can’t be held responsible for delays they incur. We’ll get the food to them on time, but from that point on, it’s out of our hands. Should there be any significant or repeat delays, we’ll take it up with them – and take our business elsewhere as needed.
The Trail Food Company’s liability for any delay in delivery is limited to re-delivery at a later agreed time at no extra charge.
We have outsourced all delivery and collection arrangements to a third-party courier service. Accordingly, we cannot, to the extent permitted by law, be liable for any loss or damage caused by them.
