Our Vision
The Trail Food Company, from its inception, has been passionate about supporting those men and women who protect our wilderness heritage.
We are looking to create a new range of meals specifically to cater to the calorific needs, tastes and budgets of rangers.
These meals will be separate from our current range of food for hobby hikers and trailists, but you are welcome to browse our store to see what we stock there too!
As a provider of lightweight, nutritious meals that are quick to reconstitute, we are undertaking a survey to establish whether a desire or need exists for a change in current Ranger nutrition.
These surveys are completely anonymous unless any participant chooses to contact us directly.
These surveys are applicable to any field ranger or person in ranger management within Africa.
Please share either or both of these surveys with your colleagues and/or management.
Our dream is to work with Parks Management all over Africa to ensure that all of those on the front line of conservation have access to healthy, nutritious food that keeps them healthy, fit and strong.
Much like a vehicle can’t run successfully for a long time with dirty fuel, so we believe the same applies to the human body.
