Refund Policy

The Trail Food Company is committed to providing you with a fantastic food experience while you’re hiking, cycling, camping or just outdoors relaxing.

We will at all times attempt to provide a fair and reasonable Refund and Returns Policy and we will make every effort to ensure that you are happy with your purchase.

You are in exactly the right place to find information regarding the process of obtaining refunds on an online order.

Due to the fact that we sell perishable items, we cannot unfortunately accept returns.

Critical information

Our food is prepared in a kitchen that uses nuts, dairy, soya and fish. If you have severe allergies to any of the listed items, we recommend you don’t purchase food from us.

Please note that all meals produced by the Trail Food Company are free of MSG, colourants, preservatives and additives.

We reserve the right to swap out certain items or ingredients based on seasonality, availability or at our discretion.

Refund policy

Our Refund policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since your purchase, I’m afraid we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

Due to the fact that we sell perishable items, we cannot unfortunately accept returns.

However, if, within a period of 14 days from the date of purchase, you are unhappy with an item purchased from our online store, you may, subject to the terms below, request a replacement or exchange. Please contact us immediately via email or phone.

If you receive an incorrect product, please notify us via e-mail within 24 hours. We will arrange collection of the incorrect item/s and deliver the correct one/s at our own expense.

If you wish to return a product for any other reasons, please note that unfortunately we cannot take products back due to the perishable nature of food products. Health and safety regulations prohibit us from being able to accept the return of such products.

Should the Trail Food Company approve a refund, we have the discretion to refund you by any appropriate means including a credit, cash or by crediting your applicable credit or debit card, or bank account.

We do not guarantee that you will be automatically refunded. The decision to refund is solely at the discretion of the Trail Food Company.

Please note that items purchased on a discounted sale are not eligible for a refund or exchange.

Please note that for all refund claims, we will require:

Your name, address and contact number

The reason for the return

A copy of your original invoice

And, subject to the nature of the claim, photographic evidence of the issue

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order when you get it and contact us immediately if there are any issues or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

We do reserve the right to swap out certain similar items based on availability and seasonality.

We will make arrange to deliver the replacement item/s at our expense.

Refunds (if applicable)

Should a refund need to be issued, please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

If your refund claim is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

While we make every effort to ensure freshness and quality, you consume Trail Food Company products at your own risk, and the company cannot be held liable for any illness, disability or death resulting from the consumption of any produced purchased from Trail Food Company via our website or in any other way.
