A little seasoning goes a long way! Each main meal also comes with a salt and pepper sachet inside the cook-in bag. AND…You can also choose some extra little gourmet options such as extra chilli, garlic or parmesan cheese!

And then High Performance options with added quinoa – excellent for growing teenage boys and ultra lengthy, tough, cold hikes! I hope this helps.

Actually this is a review on behalf of my son Charlie – bolognese is one of his favourite meals and so for him to have this on a hike he thinks is just brilliant.

Tried this one for the first time on our last hike. Great nutritional values and the large with some cheese added made enough to share with my hiking partner. Delicious and the best part was how easy it was to prepare after a long day, and having to prepare in a tent during storms.

I was not so sure about Penne Bolognese at first. It might seem like an easy meal to make for some people but only a few get it right. Had this on our hike this past weekend and I must say, I loved it. It was very tasty and delicious. After a long day of hiking, it is nice to know that you can have a tasty and filling meal. The portions are just perfect for someone who has spent the whole day hiking.

I went hiking for 9 days through the Italian dolomites. This was a good meal. Not as much flavour as some of the others meals but still enjoyable.

I’m giving this one 5 stars for two reasons. First, the Gluten-Free option was great! Second, we cold soaked this and had it for lunch and it was absolutely delicious. Just a heads up though, the large meal would only really be enough for dinner for one person.
